Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Chillicothe, Ohio. The role requires 40 hours weekly, with 10-hour days and some on-call. You'll work weekdays 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, scrubbing and monitoring Cath Lab procedures, assisting in heart catheterization including Impella/IABP, and supporting peripheral and EP labs.

Ohio licensure, ARRT, BLS and ACLS are required. Travel assignment with guaranteed hours and a strong patient-care focus, offering exposure

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
• 1 year of travel experience preferred.
• Ohio State Licensure required.
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for providing professional patient care through the application of radiologic skills and procedures to an assigned group of patients. As a primary caregiver, this role involves delivering direct patient care and collaborating with other team members, including physicians and patient families, to achieve optimal outcomes.

The technologist will work under the supervision of the Cardiac Cath Manager and will have access to patient information, making decisions independently as well as in collaboration with team members and supervisors. Responsibilities include:

• Scrubbing and monitoring (documenting) various modalities within the Cath Lab.
• Assisting in heart catheterization procedures, including emergent techniques such as Impella and IABP.
• Support in the Peripheral lab and EP lab.

Call Requirements

This position requires the ability to respond within 45 minutes to calls. Coverage includes one weekend per month and two nights per week.

Guarantee

40 hours of work guaranteed per week.
