Job summary

Talent4Health is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Danbury, Connecticut. The position runs for 13 weeks, at 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a CT Radiographer license with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification, 3+ years in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab, and proficiency in EP, PCI, and structural heart procedures. BLS/ACLS required.

Qualifications

• State of CT Radiographer license with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS (CCI) certification
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implants
• Experience scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures and supporting devices (Impella, IABP, pacing)
• Experience with neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures
• Expertise in radial and femoral access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices

Responsibilities

• Assist with radial and femoral vascular access during procedures
• Scrub and support EP and structural heart cases (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman)
• Support diagnostic and interventional cases including PCI and device implants
• Assist with imaging and equipment setup for complex cardiovascular procedures

Ideal tech will be a cross‑trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced experience across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories.

Proficient in supporting high‑acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases.

Required:

State of CT Radiographer license in conjunction with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI

Minimum 3 years + Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience

BLS

ACLS

Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred).

Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy), and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing).

Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions

Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.

Preferred:

If a licensed radiologic technologist - Familiarity with Siemens and RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI

Proficient in scrubbing structural heart procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman.

Skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies, including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems and mechanical circulatory support devices.
