HealthTrust Workforce Solutions in Nashville, TN, is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. You will work 40 hours with 10-hour day shifts in the Cath Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Required are RCIS/RCES or RT(R), ACLS and BLS certifications, plus experience scrub/monitoring Cath Lab and EP cases. GE/Philips systems, Merge Hemo and Meditech are used in this unit.

Qualifications

• Must have Cath Lab/EP tech experience
• RCIS/RCES or RT(R) certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Scrub and monitor Cath Lab/EP procedures

Responsibilities

• Support Cath Lab/EP procedures per established protocols

• Number of Beds : 11 procedure rooms (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR)
• Patient Ratios : 1 patient to 3 staff
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Cath/EP Techs, Cath/EP RNs
• Type of equipment : GE and Philips xray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo
• Documentation system: Merge Hemo and Meditech
• Scheduling requirements:4 x 10 hr shifts- 6:30 a to 5 p
• Floating policy: Only float to prep and recovery
• Patient Experience requirements: 2 years minimum

Procedures performed on unit: Cath Lab- diagnostic, PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, Pernumbra EP Lab- EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations (no cryo ablations), micra pacemakers, loop recorders, lead extractions to include laser lead extractions

Certifications Required: RCIS, RCES, OR RT(R), ACLS, BLS
