Job summary

ProLink Allied seeks a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Portsmouth, Virginia. You’ll join a busy lab with advanced equipment and a mix of angiography, balloon/stenting, and peripheral interventions.

The position is 40 hours per week, dayshift with mandatory call Monday through Friday. Travel stipend details vary by assignment and geography.

Qualifications

• RCIS certification is required.
• Experience in cardiac cath lab procedures preferred.
• BLS/ACLS as standard credentials.

Responsibilities

Position Details

Monday-Friday and take at least 14 days of call. Must Have RCIS. Works in cardiac catheterization lab, assisting cardiologists and vascular physicians with catheter based cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. Lab has balloon pump, Impella, IVUS, iFR/FFR and perfrom TAVR, PFO closures, Watchman, EKOs, and do atherectomy with CSI, RotaPro and laser; in addition to angiography and balloon/stenting. accepts locals ($10 decrease). Dysrhythmia exam (study guide located in Simplify library). BLS, ACLS.

Unit Details

3-4 rooms (Cath, Vascular, EP and hybrid). GE Machines; 1 lab is Siemens (Vascular). Generally, 4-8 Caths a day (will add on as needed, have done 12-16 with 2 cath rooms running but this is rare). generally see diagnostic and interventional cases. Lab has balloon pump, Impella, IVUS, iFR/FFR and perfrom TAVR, PFO closures, Watchman, EKOs, and do atherectomy with CSI, RotaPro and laser; in addition to angiography and balloon/stenting.
