Job summary

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Detroit, Michigan. The role requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts including days and nights; travel employment with guaranteed hours and weekly pay.

Minimum education includes a 2-year radiologic technology program, ARRT registry eligibility or equivalent, and BLS/ACLS certifications. BS in Radiology is preferred for advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Basic EKG course completed.
• ARRT CT certification or equivalent licensing is required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cath Lab imaging and patient care for cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and physicians to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain equipment readiness and sterile technique during procedures.

TRA Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.

* 4 X 10 hours a week. Shift start time is 6:45 plus call*

Minimum Education

• Formal 2 year radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT
• Basic EKG Course

Preferred Education

Preferred Experience

• 2 years experience in an Acute Care hospital and 1 Year current providing Cardiac Cath, Radiology Care

Minimum Required Certification/Licensure

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR
• Registered Cardiovasular Invasive Specialist
• ARRT

• American Heart Association BLS
