Procedures & Responsibilities

• Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader Athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion
• Preferred: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Pulmonary Artery line insertion, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Watchman equipment
• Fluoroscopy, Siemens
• Accurate monitoring, equipment set up, EKG lead placement, prep access site, recognition of life‑threatening arrhythmias, room circulator, scrub, maintain sterile field
• Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Professional knowledge: Isolation
