Schedule: day shift, 10 hours per day (40 hours/week); rotating call including two weekends within six weeks. Requirements: 6 months Cath Lab experience, BLS, ARRT (R); CI or CV preferred; must apply for Colorado

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months current Cath Lab Technologist experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT registration (R).
• Credentialed in Cardiac Interventional Specialty (CI) or Cardiovascular (CV) preferred.
• Ability to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Support interventional cardiology procedures including LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacemaker placements, ICDs, cardioversions, and TEE examinations.
• Work with new equipment and technology to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain high-performance team collaboration and patient safety practices.
• Contribute to rotating call schedule and weekends as required.

Job Summary

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) position is located in an urban healthcare setting specializing in interventional cardiology procedures. This role involves supporting a high-functioning team to provide advanced cardiovascular care, including procedures such as LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacemaker placements, ICDs, cardioversions, TEE examinations, and structural heart interventions. The position offers opportunities to work with new equipment and technology in a dynamic environment that emphasizes high-quality patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, total of 10 hours, Minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months current Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • BLS certification
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration (R)
  • Credentialed in Cardiac Interventional Specialty (CI) or Cardiovascular (CV) preferred
  • Ability to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) prior to starting work
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification
  • Scrubbing and monitoring skills and experience
  • Prior Meditech experience
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates should possess skills in EP/Structural Heart procedures and Right Heart monitoring
  • Unit maintains a high-performance team, engaged physicians, and a low call ratio
  • The call schedule is rotating, including two weekends and 9-12 days of call within a 6-week period
  • The facility is located near Colorado mountains, offering access to skiing and outdoor activities, and features a strong organizational culture with modern equipment and experienced staff
