Job Summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Rad) for a 13‑week assignment in Tyler, Texas.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 per week (10‑hour days)
• Employment type: Travel

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cardiac lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock, instrument sterilization, and functional equipment.
• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including site preparation, draping, instrument arrangement, and pressure transducer setup.
• Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab; maintain knowledge of related equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician in catheter manipulation.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers, fluoroscopic equipment, and other instruments.
• Monitor patient hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) – CI preferred; CCI‑RCIS certification required.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods of time.

Additional Information

Job ID #1396029. Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
