Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. This role focuses on pediatric cath lab radiologic procedures within a Level I Trauma environment.

The position requires at least 1 year of pediatric cath lab or trauma experience, active national certifications (PALS, BLS, ACLS), and flexibility for on-call shifts and travel. Shifts are days, 8 hours, with 40 hours per week. Parking and travel stipends may apply.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care within a Level I Trauma environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: Day shift, 07:00 - 15:30
• On-call Requirements: Yes, 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures in the Pediatric Cath Lab.
• Participate in procedures such as Pediatric/Adult Transplant, R/L Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement.
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures, preferably in pediatric cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Pediatric Cath Lab or Level I Trauma setting.
• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures is preferred.
• National Certifications required:
  • PALS
  • BLS
  • ACLS (American Heart Association only)
  • CCI with RCIS/RCES certification preferred, ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also acceptable.

Additional Information

• Radiation badge is required, which must be provided by the agency.
• The facility has 2 Cath Lab rooms.
• Charting is performed using EPIC.
• Parking fees applicable for nights and weekends (one-time payment for parking pass).
• All requested time off (RTO) must be provided at the time of submission.
• The facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; call-off hours can be adjusted to add up to one shift.
