Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Tallahassee, FL. The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT (R) • CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification; state licensure may be required. You will scrub, monitor, and document hemodynamics during complex cardiac procedures.

Expect 40 hours weekly on 10‑hour day shifts. Travel status, weekly pay and benefits are provided by TotalMed Allied, with additional certifications as needed by

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms and ensure instruments are stocked and sterilized.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures, site entry, draping, and setup of catheters and transducers.
• Operate and perform quality control on lab equipment and related systems.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic data and angiographic data using appropriate monitors and fluoroscopy.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures and support life-saving measures as needed.

We're looking for a Cardiac Catheterization Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad) for an immediate travel opening in Tallahassee, FL. The right Cath Lab Rad must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements. Cath Lab Rads assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Scrubbing, monitoring and assisting providers as requested.

As a Cath Lab Rad, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available and in working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
• Preparing patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
• Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab. Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
• Scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
• Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
• Participating in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Cath Lab Rads should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Must have 1 year of experience. The Cath Lab Rad must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification, and state specific licensing when required.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
