Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland. This position requires 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience, strong cardiac catheterization skills, ACLS and BLS, RCIS/ARRT certification, and an active Maryland license.

The role involves scrubbing and monitoring complex cardiac and vascular procedures in a hospital setting. The assignment runs for 14 weeks with a 6-month schedule, offering 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts and call

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Strong cardiac catheterization and vascular procedure experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• RCIS or ARRT certification.
• Active Maryland license.
• Proficiency scrubbing and monitoring cardiac/vascular procedures.
• Experience with TAVR, AAA, STEMI, pacemaker/defibrillator and peripheral angiography.
• Comfort recognizing life-threatening dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor cardiac and vascular procedures in the cath lab.
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with adult diagnostic catheterizations and PCI-related procedures.
• Maintain room circulation and sterile field.

Pay Range: 2444.76 - 2567.00

Schedule: 06:00 - 18:30 (4x10s; approximately 5-6 nights of call per month and one weekend of call per month)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience; strong cardiac catheterization and vascular procedure experience; ACLS and BLS; RCIS or ARRT certification; active Maryland license; basic EKG assessment; proficiency scrubbing and monitoring cardiac and vascular procedures; diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization experience; experience with TAVR, AAA repair, STEMI cases, pacemaker and defibrillator insertion/removal, AICD insertion and programming, and peripheral angiography; comfort recognizing life-threatening dysrhythmias; experience with room circulation and maintaining a sterile field; experience with adult diagnostic catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, rotational atherectomy, IABP placement/removal, and cardiac implant closure devices; McKesson charting experience

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and monitor cardiac and vascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with adult diagnostic catheterizations, cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, and related procedures.
• Maintain room circulation and a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Recognize life-threatening dysrhythmias and support safe, effective procedural care.
