Job Summary

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist position is based in a healthcare organization. This role involves supporting imaging studies within the Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring critical thinking and technical skills to ensure timely and accurate procedures. The selected candidate will work closely with cardiologists and imaging professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, working 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule includes working from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 4 ten-hour shifts per week and 9-11 call shifts per schedule, which involve after hours and weekend call.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, RCIS certification, ACLS, and BLS certifications. Experience should include scrub and monitoring (recording), with proficiency in both cardiac catheterization (Cath) and electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: EP (Electrophysiology) procedure experience, ability to float between campuses if needed, proficiency in patient monitoring and recording.
• Additional Information: The candidate must work across multiple campuses, adhering to all applicable clinical and safety protocols. AHCA certification is required prior to start for all travelers. The position involves assisting in imaging studies, recording data, and supporting cardiologists during procedures.
