Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, IL. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, including patient prep, equipment handling, and assisting physicians during procedures.

The position requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES, ACLS, BLS, and current radiologic technology licensure. Expect 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, and travel benefits with a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies.
