Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Gainesville, Florida. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

The position requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Benefits include competitive pay and a dedicated clinical team support.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents during procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup.
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
