Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Gallatin, Tennessee. The role involves catalytic diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient preparation, equipment handling, and strict adherence to sterile technique.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, ensuring infection control compliance.
• Assist with documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
