Job summary

The Cath Lab Technologist role is a travel assignment based in Memphis, TN, with Fusion Medical Staffing. The technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prep patients and equipment, monitor data, and support physicians during procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Cath Lab experience and current BLS/ACLS; ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification is required or preferred. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and robust support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents and operating imaging equipment
• Operate and maintain imaging, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup per protocol
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed
• Maintain documentation and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory management and sterile supply storage
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice

Education

BLS (AHA/ARC) certification

ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification

ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Radiologic Technologist license (state)

PALS/ENPC certifications
