Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamics, and assist physicians with catheters, wires, balloons and stents in a fast-paced lab.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of cath lab experience, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, with a Nebraska radiologic technologist license preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Preferred Radiologic Technologist license in-state compliance
• PALS or ENPC certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup according to protocols
• Document patient data, imaging, and equipment logs
• Assist with inventory management and sterile supplies
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies
