MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Maryville, Tennessee. The role offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts in a travel staffing setting.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains high level of patient care through communication with patients, families, and physicians.
• Operates under the direction of the cardiologist/radiologist.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by obtaining catheters, wires, and other required inventory.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care and maintains a patient-focused environment.
• Promotes a safe work environment for staff and customers and supports national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
