Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting with interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a high-pressure lab environment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and full benefits accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification is required.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamic equipment; ensure proper functionality.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup following infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
