MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Hudson, Florida. This role involves assisting the cardiac catheterization team in interventional procedures and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced lab.

The position requires a current license, appropriate certifications, and typically two years of Cath Lab experience, preferably in a critical care setting. Compensation includes weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Sustains a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and coworkers to address needs.
• Functions under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, obtaining catheters, wires and other inventory as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a patient-focused, timely and compassionate care environment.
• Promotes a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating patient safety initiatives.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
