Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The position requires current licensure and appropriate Cath Lab certifications, with a preference for two years of Cath Lab experience in a critical care setting.

40 hours weekly on dayshift, travel status with housing or housing allowance. Responsibilities include assisting the cardiac catheterization team, equipment management, and ensuring patient safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing is required.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials are required.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent patient care in the interventional cardiology department.
• Assist in invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular procedures.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, and physicians to address needs.
