Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Bloomington, IN. The role involves preparing patients, assisting during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient safety while operating specialized imaging equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of recent Cath Lab experience and holds BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications, with licensure as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
