Job summary

TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for an assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves performing cardiac catheterization support, scrubbing, data collection, and patient monitoring in a fast-paced lab.

Travel personnel should meet ARRT/CI certifications and BLS/ACLS while maintaining licensure as required by the state. The position runs 40 hours per week over 10-hour day shifts for approximately 26 weeks, with travel stipends to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or CCI-RCIS certification preferred.
• State licensing may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cardiac Lab rooms and equipment, ensuring stock and instrument sterility.
• Prepare patient and equipment, drape patient, and set up catheters and transducers.
• Operate and maintain quality control of cath lab equipment.
• Scrub in and assist the physician during procedures with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic and angiographic data using appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures if needed.
