Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The role involves preparing patients, assisting during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient safety in a high-pressure environment.

The Cath Lab Technologist will operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment and maintain sterile technique during interventions.
• Scrub in and support sterile field setup following infection control protocols.
