Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract in Palmdale, California. The assignment runs for 12 weeks with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10-hour days, and travel considerations.

The role requires current licensure and appropriate certifications, with two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting. Housing or housing allowance and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and co-workers.
• Operate ancillary equipment, anticipate and obtain catheters, wires and medications as ordered during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Promote a safe work environment for staff and patients.
