Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Danbury, CT. The travel technologist will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, with 12-hour days and a 36-hour work week.

Responsibilities include patient prep, equipment setup, passing catheters and wires, monitoring hemodynamics, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring safety; required include BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES, plus 1 year Cath Lab

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitors; maintain sterile technique and infection control.
