Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Mount Vernon, Washington. The role involves preparing labs, assisting during cardiac procedures, and ensuring patient safety with BLS/ACLS and ARRT/CCI certifications as required.

The position requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, strong procedural support, and the ability to stand for long periods. This travel role offers a 40-hour week with a 10-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS and ACLS required; ARRT (R) CI preferred or CCI-RCIS; state licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab rooms and ensure instrument sterility.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures and calibrate equipment.
• Operate and maintain quality control for lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter handling.
• Record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures and respond to changes.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
