Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wilson, North Carolina. The role emphasizes direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab and support for interventional procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an active Cath Lab license, relevant certifications, and 2 years of Cath Lab experience, preferably in critical care settings. Travel, housing support, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Sustains a high level of patient care by communication with the patients, families, and physicians and co-workers to address needs.
• Functions under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, obtaining catheters, wires and medications as ordered.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
