Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for an assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. The selected RN will join the cardiac cath lab team, providing direct patient care and support for interventional procedures.

The role requires a current license, appropriate certifications, and preferably two years of Cath Lab experience, with travel duties spanning 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent patient care in the interventional cardiology department.
• Assist in invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain high level of patient care through communication with patients, families and physicians.
• Work under supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist during procedures.
• Operate ancillary equipment and prepare catheters, wires, medications as ordered.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
