MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Largo, Florida. The role involves work in the cardiac cath lab, with emphasis on patient care, procedures, and documentation.

Requirements include current licensure, relevant certifications, and about two years of cath lab experience. The position offers a 26-week contract, 40 hours per week, and 10-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years cath lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain high level of patient care through communication with patients, families, and physicians.
• Function under the direction and supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and preparing supplies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain patient-focused care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately.
