LanceSoft is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The role focuses on operating Cath Lab radiographic equipment, assisting during invasive procedures, and documenting patient responses under cardiology direction.

This travel position offers weekly pay, a tax-free stipend, and benefits including day-one dental, health, and vision insurance, with additional referral and extension bonuses.

Qualifications

• Operates radiographic equipment in Cath Lab under cardiologist direction.
• Performs scrub assist during invasive procedures and records patient responses.

Responsibilities

• Obtains a concise medical history and physical assessment.
• Performs time-out procedure with proper consent and H&P.
• Counts according to policy with no deviations.
• Prepares patient in a timely manner.
• Maintains sterile technique during scrub/physician interaction.
• Documents patient progress and interventions in EMR.
• Records charges and changes in EMR.
• Delivers cost-efficient care with sound decisions on supplies.
• Performs tasks per cath lab guidelines during routine and emergency cases.
• Identifies basic arrhythmias and respiratory dysfunction.
• Demonstrates knowledge of pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring.
