Job summary

The Good Life MedStaff, LLC seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Joliet, IL. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, manage imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety before, during, and after cases.

Requirements include an associate or bachelor’s in a cardiovascular field, BLS/ACLS, and RCIS or RT as applicable by state. On-site work with on-call rotations and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• RCIS or RT certification depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab and ensure equipment is sterilized.
• Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures such as coronary angiography and PCI.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and procedural data.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and monitor for reactions.
• Maintain accurate procedure records and documentation per hospital policies.
• Ensure radiation safety practices are followed per standards.
• Assist with patient transport and lab inventory.
