Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska, performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization with EP, IR, and neuro involvement. Requires ARRT(R) or RCIS certification and 2+ years of Cath Lab experience.

The role includes 4x10 hour days, on-call requirements, and potential float to IR/EP; facility offers comprehensive benefits and housing support for travelers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Cath Lab required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT(R) or RCIS certification required.
• License required if applicable, and must be active at time of consideration.
• EP, IR, vascular, monitoring, and neuro experience required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination required; titers or declinations not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with structural heart procedures such as PFO closure, TAVR, and MitraClip.
• Support interventional radiology and neuro interventions.
• Chart in Epic.
• Proficiently operate the Philips X-ray system.
• Float within scope to IR, EP, and nearby hospitals as needed.
• On-call one shift per week and every fourth weekend.
