Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab services at a leading healthcare facility in Snellville, GA. We are seeking a skilled professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. This is a contract position offering a day shift of 4x10 hours, from 07:00 to 17:30.

Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted.

Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics.

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and one of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV.

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements:

• Patient Diagnoses include: Diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, device implants; no EP studies or ablations.
  
• EKG settings and experience required, including obtaining vitals and rhythm interpretation; sinus node rhythms required.
  
• Experience with pacemakers preferred.
  
• Required experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella.
  

Ratio / Census: 3 Rooms with 5 Beds; average daily census of 8-10.

Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Merge (Preferred).

Scrub Color: Provided by the facility.

RTO: MAX 7 days.

Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified.

Floating: Yes, within department and facility; possibility to float to sister campus.

Call Requirements: 12-15 days/month, including 2 weekends (Sat/Sun); late stay as needed.

Holidays: Expected to work one major holiday if it falls during the assignment; if two major holidays fall during the assignment, expected to work both; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day.

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant, push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Clinical Screen: Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine fit; if clinical pass and within guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on a case-by-case basis.

Locals Accepted: Same rate.

Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 19 hours for a 19-week assignment).
