Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist in Athens, Georgia. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with a 40-hour week and a typical 8-hour shift.

Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or RCIS certification, and 1+ year Cath Lab experience. Active BLS is required to support patient safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and well-being.
• Maintain documentation of imaging results and patient data.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during procedures; ensure equipment readiness.

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours

• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Qualifications

• Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proven experience in a Cath Lab setting, specifically with imaging responsibilities
• Proficient understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathophysiology, and interventional equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians in the performance of catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and related diagnostics
• Adhere to established protocols for sterile field and radiation safety
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being

• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition during proceduresEnsure all equipment is properly maintained and available for each case

$2,299 - $2,432/Week
Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
