Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and competitive pay with benefits and a supportive clinical team.

The Cath Lab Tech will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure sterile technique while collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor hemodynamic data.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup and infection control protocols.
• Maintain documentation and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
