Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab travel nurse for a Long Beach, CA assignment. You will support physicians in catheterization, angioplasty, pacing device implants, and electrophysiology, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care, BLS, and the ability to handle a fast-paced cardiovascular setting; 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, travel contract.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
