Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Travel Cathlab RN for a part-time contract in Iowa. You will provide nursing care in the cath lab, monitor patients, and support pre/post-procedure activities while following safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires an Iowa or multi-state RN license, 2+ years cath lab experience, and strong documentation skills. You will travel to sites across Iowa and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

Current Iowa or multi-state RN license.
Travel nurse with cath lab experience.
Ability to monitor hemodynamics and respond to emergencies.
Minimum 2 years cath lab or interventional cardiology nursing background.
Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide traveling cath lab nursing care in Iowa.
Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to emergencies.
Adhere to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
Support pre-procedure assessments and prep, including consent and vitals.
Assist in cath lab procedures and instrumentation setup under supervision.
Document procedures, outcomes, and fluid/blood product usage accurately.
Engage in continuous professional development to improve clinical skills and knowledge.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care and handoffs.
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Utilize and maintain self-supplied equipment and ensure readiness of the cath lab.
