Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on day shifts. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and active ACLS/BLS certifications. You'll assist in catheterization, angioplasty, stent placements, and pacemaker/ICD implants in a cardiovascular surgical environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required for assignment.
• 1.5 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Travel assignment in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex cath lab technologies and processes.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and imaging.
• Support during angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Assist with pacemaker and ICD implant procedures.
