Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. The RN will assist during cardiac catheterization procedures, monitor patients, and ensure safe post-procedure recovery while collaborating with cardiologists and the cath lab team.

Required credentials include one year of Cath Lab RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel benefits and a competitive pay package are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsabilités

• Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
• Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure and ensure EKG electrodes and cardiac leads are properly placed.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including the placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedure.
• Support post-procedure care and ensure smooth transition to the next phase of care.
