Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel assignment in Bryan, Texas. The role requires an active RN license, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of cath lab experience.

The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, days shift, with travel housing support, health benefits, and per diem. You will perform invasive cath lab procedures and assist physicians in angioplasties and pacemaker implants.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identify blockages, assisting the physician during procedures, and monitoring the patient’s status at other times.
• Administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures.
