Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. This role requires 16 weeks of assignment, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care RN experience and appropriate ACLS/BLS certifications. As a Cath Lab RN, you will collaborate with a skilled cardiovascular team, assist during angioplasty, catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures, and support devices

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose heart conditions or to treat.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
