Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab RN for an 8-week assignment in Passaic, New Jersey. The RN will prepare patients for procedures, assist during interventions, and monitor recovery, working with cardiology teams to deliver high‑quality care.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS; additional certifications such as PALS/ENPC or RCIS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• PALS or ENPC certifications preferred.
• RCIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before procedures including history and physicals.
• Position patients and place EKG leads correctly.
• Assist during procedures with catheters, wires, balloons, stents and devices.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment and rhythms.
• Remove arterial/venous sheaths and transport to recovery area.
• Monitor vitals and hemodynamics during procedures.
• Support post-procedure recovery and handoff care.
• Maintain cath lab equipment and ensure supplies.
• Communicate with team, patients, families and physicians.
• Follow safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties within scope.
