The ideal candidate holds an MD RN license with BLS, ACLS, CPI during orientation, plus 3 years in cardiac cath lab. Schedule is 40 hours/week, 10-hour shifts, for 16 weeks with on-call coverage and weekend requirements.

• Support team during on-call shifts with 30-minute response.

Requirements: RN MD state license, BLS, ACLS, CPI (on-site during orientation); NIH preferred, 3 years experience in cardiac Cath lab, willing to accept first-time travelers with proven background of 3 years in cardiac Cath lab, must be within 30-minute arrival time for on-call shifts, scheduled on-call shifts from 17:30-07:00 weekday evenings and 07:00-07:00 on weekends/holidays, weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled, floating to pre-op/PACU within unit/specialty as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the cath lab, including Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Pacemaker, Loop monitors, TEE, and Cardioversions.
  
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs during procedures involving Balloon Pump and IVUS equipment.
  
• Respond to patient emergencies such as Acute Coronary Syndrome, CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, AFIB, and Bradycardia.
  
• Support team during on-call shifts, ensuring prompt response within 30 minutes.
  
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in a fast-paced hospital environment to ensure patient safety and effective procedure outcomes.
