VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab at a hospital in Chesapeake, Virginia. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and 10-hour shifts, offering experience in a full cardiovascular program.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in Cath Lab settings (ICU/CCU/ED) and EPIC proficiency, plus an active Virginia or Compact RN license. Start date 08/31/2026 and flexible contract length through January 9, 2027 are available.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience in Critical Care, Cardiac Care, or ED.
EPIC proficiency required.
Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
Chesapeake area local candidates within 50 miles of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

Perform minimally invasive cardiac procedures in a full-service cardiovascular program, including electrophysiology services.
Assist in electrophysiology, cath, or cath holding departments as assigned.
Ensure patient safety and monitor patient condition during procedures.
Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams to deliver quality care.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation of procedures.

Schedule: 07:00 - 17:00

Contract Length: Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required!!
