Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

The position requires a RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of acute Cath Lab experience. The role is travel-based with 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, in Parkersburg.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform angioplasties, implant pacemakers and diagnose cardiac conditions with an invasive catheterization procedure.
• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identify blockages, assist the physician during procedures, and monitor the patient’s status.
• Administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures.
