Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab in Portland, OR, with a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/14/2026. The role offers day shifts and flexible daytime hours, with weekly pay ranging from $2,872 to $3,091 and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

The position involves coordinating nursing care in the cath lab, assisting interventional procedures, managing IVs and medications, and supporting discharge planning. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of practice (current license required).
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or cath lab/interventional settings.
• BLS required; ACLS or ARC-ALS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in the cath lab and peri-procedural area, following established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned nursing staff; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement care.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care; monitor hemodynamic status, patient comfort, and safety during interventional procedures.
• Participate in interventional procedures (catheterization, angiography, PCI) as scrub or circulator as appropriate; maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment readiness.
• Initiate and manage IV access, administer medications per orders, and monitor responses; assist with sedation/anesthesia as directed.
• Support discharge planning and provide patient and family education; contribute to a safe, healing environment and effective care transitions.
