Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in Mattoon, IL. As part of our team, you will provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, while collaborating with cardiologists and cath lab staff.

Requirements include one year of cath lab RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS. Preferred certifications include PALS or ENPC, RCIS.

Qualifications

• One year of cath lab RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to procedures and review medical history.
• Position patients and place EKG leads for procedures.
• Assist during procedures and with catheter/guidewire/interventions.
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamics during procedures.
• Support post-procedure recovery and smooth care transitions.
• Maintain cath lab equipment and ensure stock for procedures.
• Communicate with the team, patients, and families.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
