Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Kenner, Louisiana. The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic sciences, ARRT registration, and BLS/ACLS certification, with 2 years of allied health experience.

Responsibilities include patient setup, fluoroscopy imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and PACS documentation. Shift is night, 8 hours; duration 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, travel employment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic sciences required.
• Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in patient setup and prep before procedures and post-procedure cleanup using safe patient transfer techniques.
• Document in procedure log to reflect accurate procedure and interventions for correct billing.
• Operate radiographic fluoroscopy equipment to obtain diagnostic images of cardiac and peripheral vasculature.
• Monitor hemodynamic status during procedures and report values to the physician.
• Ensure radiation safety and minimize exposure to staff and patient.
• Transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images in PACS.
• Perform quality control and routine maintenance of fluoroscopy equipment.
• Adapt communication to patient population and obtain consent as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
