Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab contract position requiring 3+ years of Cath Lab and EP experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Floats for call coverage to Evanston or Highland Park depending on candidate location
• Call requirements of 2-3 days per week and every third weekend, with 30 minute call back response time and 2 hour guarantee when called in
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab and EP experience
• ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• IEMA Certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required, with a minimum of 1 completed travel assignment
• Must pass a Relias EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration
• Must pass an on-site EKG test on Day 1 of orientation
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• 16 hours of non-billable orientation required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be away from the facility for 12 months before being considered as a traveler
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts and 7 days for 13-week contracts
• Must work at least 1-2 holidays during the contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate within a 50 mile radius
• Candidates will participate in a facility interview lasting approximately 10-15 minutes
